I am loving the new advert from Winalot recently where dog owners thank their dogs for well, just being themselves.
For those of you that haven`t seen it, the ad shows several scenes of owners with their dogs just going about their normal lives.
I don`t know whether they meant to but many of the scenes will be familiar to most of us. The first is a family in the countryside with their dog – that’s me to a tee. The next is a couple on their settee with the dog in the middle – check. The next depicts a family at the english countryside with the wind blowing their dogs (Bassett Hound – adorable dogs) ears – my Lakeland terrier is eactly the same. Then we go to the beach with a dog digging – tick for both dogs on that front. Following that is a scene in the woods with a terrier running around like a nutter chasing everything – again check that having a terrier myself. The next two don`t really work for me, a dog running in circles and an odd couple. The next though hits a few chords, it is an erderly woman sitting with her dog, the dog just content to be with her. My German Shepherd is exactly the same, the breed are absolutely amazing and often misunderstood.
